Benning MCU 2500 Monitoring Control Unit, base module, in the inverter (INV)
configuration. The MCU 2500 is Benning’s microprocessor based monitoring and control
module for AC and DC power systems, used with Benning inverter and rectifier plant
including the INVERTRONIC and INVERTRONIC compact lines. It reads system measurements,
battery data, temperature and alarms, and makes them available locally through a keypad
and LCD or remotely over modem, Ethernet, TCP/IP web adapter or SNMP. This unit is the
electronics module in its zinc plated steel housing, as pulled from Benning inverter

number set 584318 / 607515; the UPS build of the same module carries 561122 / 607102, so
confirm your system calls for the inverter configuration before ordering. Requires an
18 V to 72 V DC supply at X1. Remote access uses the RS232 port or the network port.
