You run network testing today: a manual procedure, a plan written for a retired platform
(Spirent SmartBits or TestCenter, Xena, a homegrown harness), or a DUT with a datasheet and no plan at all. We
analyze what you run and deliver the Integration Recommendations & Options report: the written output
of our process testing analysis, and the decision document for automating that testing on an Ixia chassis:
Optixia XM, XG12, or XGS, IxOS 6.7 through 9.15, running Windows 7, Windows 10, or Native IxOS Linux. The
service is generic: any DUT class, any module family those platforms host, classic 1G through 400GE.
This is the analysis tier of our test plan service. It is a document engagement:
nothing ships to us, and no access to your network is required. The report is the deliverable; anything it
recommends building is quoted inside it as options you approve or decline.
- An assessment of the testing you run today, from the materials you email us.
- Our recommended integration path: how that testing maps onto automated IxNetwork and IxLoad
execution on Optixia XM, XG12, or XGS. - Findings from the analysis: the licensed features the recommended testing uses, and the chassis,
module, and port geometry it needs. - Your options, quoted: a fixed price for each further tier (documented manual process; fully
automated scripting; automated scripting with remote installation by us).
Delivered as a PDF by email and as a printed copy by US Mail.
The $300 fee covers the analysis and this report only. Every
service described below this point is additional-fee work, quoted for your setup inside the report.
| 1 | Purchase this listing. |
| 2 | Email us what you run today: a manual procedure, a legacy-platform configuration or plan, a spreadsheet, a DUT datasheet, and your chassis and license inventory if you have it. Any format is fine, including paper scans. |
| 3 | We perform the analysis: test-case mapping, license audit, port math. |
| 4 | Your Integration Recommendations & Options report is delivered by email (PDF), with the printed copy following by US Mail. Typical turnaround [EDIT: X business days] from receiving your materials. |
| 5 | If you want anything built, the report already contains the fixed quote for each further tier. Nothing is built until you approve it. |
This listing buys the analysis and the
Integration Recommendations & Options report at the center of the diagram. Every deployment tier below that
box is an additional-fee engagement; your report carries a fixed quote for each, and nothing is built until you
approve it.
delivered plan produced by the higher tiers this report quotes: the cover with scope and licensing basis,
test-case tables, the automated execution procedure, and the license map. They show what the options in your
report lead to. The example scenario migrates a manual Spirent SmartBits SMB-600B workflow to automated
IxNetwork QuickTests.
Extended support plans are available for ongoing regression programs; ask us.
| 1 | One purchase covers one report: one DUT or one existing test process. The $300 fee covers the analysis and the report only; every deployment tier the report quotes is a separate, additional-fee engagement. Message us first if you are unsure whether your scope is one report or several. |
| 2 | This is a documentation service. No hardware ships in either direction, no remote access to your systems is required, and nothing about your network is retained beyond what you send us for the analysis. We will sign a non-disclosure agreement covering any testing information you share with us. |
| 3 | The report’s recommendations are scoped to the materials you provide; send everything you want considered in the analysis. |
| 4 | The printed copy ships by US Mail to your eBay shipping address. The emailed PDF goes to the address you contact us from. |
| 5 | Service listing – no returns; the money-back guarantee above applies instead. |
Pages from a delivered plan produced by the higher tiers this report quotes, from
the example scenario in the tiers diagram. Customer details are redacted. The structure is identical for every
DUT; only the content changes with your hardware.
Scope, DUT, test system, and licensing basis stated on page
one. The example scenario migrates a manual Spirent SmartBits SMB-600B workflow to automated IxNetwork
QuickTests.
Each test case states its objective, method, the exact
QuickTest and search algorithm, the traffic map, and proposed pass/fail thresholds flagged for your engineering
to ratify.
The wizard-level steps that configure and launch each test.
After the final step the suite runs unattended and generates its own PDF and CSV reports.
Each test case tied to the licensed feature that runs it,
plus the licensed headroom the current plan does not exercise. This is how your report ties recommendations to
software you already have.
