This is an HP OEM board, not a retail board. It fits the HP Compaq 6005 Pro Small Form Factor chassis. It is DTX form factor with the HP SFF standoff pattern and an HP specific rear I/O layout, so it does not drop into a standard ATX or microATX case, and no I/O shield is supplied.
Power: requires an HP 6005 Pro SFF power supply or an equivalent adapter. The main connector is 6 pin and the CPU connector is 4 pin. A standard ATX 24 pin supply will not connect directly.
Memory: DDR3 non ECC unbuffered DIMMs, PC3-10600 DDR3-1333, up to 16 GB across four slots. DDR2 will not fit the AM3 socket board.
Processor: the installed Athlon II X2 B26 is a standard AM3 PGA part and can be removed.
Cooling: the supplied heatsink is passive and was designed to work inside the 6005 Pro SFF chassis with its fan and duct. Neither the fan nor the duct is included. Provide airflow.
BIOS: no BIOS password or asset lock check was performed. Buyers who need a confirmed clear BIOS should ask before purchase.
