AJA KBox, manufacturer part number 101736. A 19 inch rackmount breakout panel, 1RU, that brings the audio and video connections of an AJA KONA 2 capture card out to a rack panel instead of a cable harness. One end of the chassis carries the two host connectors, J1 (HD15) and J2 (multi pin). The opposite end carries the production I/O: eight channels of AES/EBU audio on XLR, AES on BNC, SDI, a genlock reference loop, component and composite video monitor outputs, RCA analog audio monitoring, and an RS-422 machine control port. Rack ears are fitted on both sides. Photographed as received.

Built as the breakout box for the AJA KONA 2 capture card. It requires a KONA 2 card and the matching AJA two cable set, neither of which is included here. The KBox is not the breakout box for KONA 3 (K3-Box) or for KONA LH, LHe and LSe (KL-Box). Confirm your card and your cable set before buying.
