So-Low U85-22 ultra-low temperature upright laboratory freezer equipped with a CO₂ backup system, for ultra-low storage in research, biotech, pharmaceutical, medical, university and industrial laboratories. Manufacturer specifications list the model at 22 cu ft (626 L) with a temperature range of -40°C to -85°C.

The unit has been powered on and tested, and is working to -85°C. The CO₂ backup system is installed, with an ON / OFF / TEST selector on its control box (listing photo 5).
