IXIA VQM01XM Voice Quality Resource Module Real Time PESQ

Real-Time, Full-Reference Quality of Voice Measurement
PESQ (perceptual evaluation of speech quality) is an objective quality of voice measurement method that predicts
the results of subjective listening tests, and is defined by ITU-T standard P.862. It is a full-reference method of
comparing the received audio signal (degraded) to the reference signal (as injected into the system). The PESQ
algorithm requires high processing power to access audio signals and perform in depth signal analyzes.
Ixia’s VQM0001 is an XM form factor resource module with enough processing and memory capabilities to
measure PESQ on up to 300 RTP streams. 
The VQM0001 analyzes RTP audio streams from one or more application load module ports in the same chassis.
Multiple resource modules can also be mounted in the same chassis and used in a single test. 
The VQM0001
module has no external interfaces — it communicates with the application load module through the chassis
backplane. 
The VQM0001 enables PESQ measurement using IxLoad VoIP Peer RTP over any VoIP signaling protocol used
to establish peer-to-peer calls.

The server application licensed features are accessed through various Ixia client applications that interact with the chassis server. 

You can download the Ixia client applications if you have online access with Ixia. These client applications are typically free from Ixia but you will need an Ixia logon account.  We offer a selection of these applications to our customers at no charge but the selection is incomplete.  We do not sell these with the servers as a package. Client application needs are the buyers responsibility, we do not guarantee that we will have all your needs though we will try to assist you if we can. We only guarantee the server applications as itemized in the listings.

In a single user environment you can set the client side GUI interface on a external PC or you can set them up on an application server when using a chassis in a multi-user environment to access and configure all the sub-license features included in a listing. Multiple chassis can be accessed in the client applications environment which allows you to use the licensed features of several chassis all at once in one interface.
